Feedback:

Exercises:  You were suppose to complete 60 idea sketches for your exercise but you have only managed to complete 35. Nevertheless, you were able to come up with a sound idea. Your cability to articulate your ideas in words needs to improve.

Project 1:  Specific Feedback: Strategy is not mentioned. Big Idea has not been refered to in the context of the research insight. However the media has been opined on. With regards to the analysis, it was not contextualised on the information obtained and showcased in the research presentation. The conclusion and final analysis does not have the possible strategy or big idea that would fit the insights gained. Citiation is not done beteer to put all links in according page whether live them all for last page.

Project 2:  Specific Feedback: The introduction was good, in that you were able to explain the what, why, and the results. You did not however explaine the how. Nevertheless it is an improvement from the first project. There is a lack of citations and credit given for the data/info/knowledge/diagrams used in the slides. You must credit the source always, otherwise it can be construed as plagiarism. When researching data for FB for example it is always a good habit to contextualise the research in Malaysia i.e. what are the habbit patterns of Malaysian FB users? How many of them are there, from what ages group, etc. And from your presentation this is evident, good. Overall there is still room for improvement in obtaining research or data that is localised with the target audience in mind.

Final project & Portfolio:    Outcomes were good, they were on message as prescribed in the SMP. The visual and copy were integrated. The copywriting could have been improved. The layouts could have been explored a little more, but overall, the campaing can be considered a success in terms of the idea and concepts. The idea managed to enhance the SMP and the concepts interpreted the ideas well.

Reflection:

This course is one of the studies which plays a huge role and has an enormous impact in my future multimedia design development. During this subject I have developed dozens of skills which are useful for marketing such as SWOT analysis, which emphasizes strong and weak sides of the strategy or methodology, brain storming, which helps to come up with many ideas, and creative thinking, which helps to catch best and the most appropriate ideas and solutions. Furthermore, I have been learned how to advertise the product or brand, make the advertising attractive and eye catching to people. It also should not be forgotten that I have gained a lot of skills how to present my advertising to people, how to introduce it and etc. In a nut shell, this course has brought countless advantages to me and to me future.
