Week 3

On the the third week of class, I proposed 3 ideas for mobile application that we wanted to design and develop.

Idea 1: How to take care of home plants. (Required vitamins and earth, characteristics of plant, instruction to plant, watering schedule, ideas how to decorate your room with plants) Idea 2: How to get somewhere (Types of transport, where they go, their schedule and stops. Idea 3: How to choose a gift ( App that helps to choose perfect gift for anybody and where to get it)

On tutorial Mr. Rafiz divided into 4 groups of 3 members. We were given a task in class to create the interface design and function of a "Nasi Lemak" vendor machine. My group members were Azry and Gilbert. After 30 minutes of discussion, we were told to draw our vendor machine designs on the whiteboards and to present.

Week 4

Planty- App about how to take care of home plants.
Specific target Audience: Young adult womens who often sit at home.(Students, Hosewives, Married)
Age group: 16-30 Area: Urban (City residents lack of fresh air and living plants in the room) Specific Goal: To make the process of planting easier than before. Outcome: User will be able find all the necessary information in one App without wasting time on searching or watching video. User just need to type in plant's name and there will be all information provided. He also will be able choose himself a perfect plant based on characteristics provided, so user will not waste money on buying plant that doesn't fit their lifestyle. In the beginning of registration user need to answer some questions, after this app will suggest some plant based on the data gathered.

Week 6
In Mr. Razif's class, we carry out the User Persona exercise based on our Project 1.

Week 7

On this week, we are finalizing our question to conduct online survey. Results of the survey I showed in presentation.

Week 8

Wireframes- Low Fidelity Prototype.

We were asked to finished our wireframes so that we can do usability testing on the next meeting. From there, we can know what's our design's problem and that will lead us to revised for better app results.
I asked Hanif to do Usability testing and make some comments.

I asked Hanif to do Usability testing. In his feedback he suggested to make a link to shops for these flowers.

I decided to add a button that will lead to map that shows  nearest shops.
